A Walk Around The North West Wedding Awards 2024

Wednesday, June 26th, 2024

On Wednesday 12th June as the lift doors opened on level 3 at the Mercure Piccadilly Hotel, guests were welcomed onto the sparkling ivory and red carpets to collect their glass of fizz from a rotating champagne tower by Mr. Flavor Events.

Guests then had plenty of photograph opportunities at the themed backdrop and photo mirror from RS Events and the large letters from Ice Entertainment UK. The attendees found where they were seated on the large table plan from NDigital and then were invited to take their places.

As the guests arrived there was a new GIF machine from Ice Entertainment, with another tropically themed backdrop from Boujee Boxes.

As finalists walked by the carved palm tree ice sculpture by Glacial Art, the room opened up to a tropical theme with beautifully created table centres from Boujee Boxes and brightly coloured table names by Paper Lace Stationery and chairs from the Chairman Hire.

The lighting and sound were enhanced by iCatching Events to set the room off further make the room stand out especially with the hotels stunning chandeliers.

Guests seemed to enjoy their 3-course meal and was served very quickly to over 360 guests, so a big thank you goes out to all the chefs and staff.

So it’s time for the event, first of all DJ Jon Holling from Ice Entertainment UK was a fabulous host by keeping us all informed of what was going on with announcements and Introductions of Duane Thornborough County Brides managing Director and Mark Sharples a trustee from Destination Florida Children’s Charity, which over £4,000 has been raised so far with the raffle and the auction.

Then it was onto the main event where the winners of 37 categories were announced and picked up their award from Carrs Jewellers and bouquet of flowers from Country Flowers, was captured by Envision Images and filmed by Paul Jon Films.

Now it’s time to party with Manhatton Casino Tables, and dance along to Soul Revolver band and DJ Jon Holling.

The night was covered by Charlotte Smith for social media and The Editors content creators.
