Summer 2023 what a joy you were! Full of gorgeous couples having the wedding day of their dreams surrounded by and their families and friends…the only thing missing for the most part was the sunshine.
Still we are in England so expectations are never too high, that said we did get some summer days and even more glorious moments.
Making the most of our stunning gardens and grounds, the Abbey House Hotel is a photographer’s dream. With natures best backdrop and our very own Wedding Buggy, Herbie, to chauffeur the happy couple around the 14 acres and beyond, whilst sipping Champagne as a newly married couple, you’re guaranteed to get the very best memories of the day
At the bottom of our gardens you’ll find the amazing Furness Abbey, an English Heritage Building dating back 900 years that was once the largest and wealthiest monastery in north-west England and today has some of the finest monastic ruins in England. Escape here for a few moments of togetherness and to capture some magical images to remember for the rest of your lives.
