Bride-to-be Heather, from Didsbury, said; “I’ve had so much fun looking into all the things we could have and do at our wedding. I got engaged in December and I’m due to marry in June 2015, so this has been a great way of gathering lots of ideas, seeing everything from the dress to the stationery and generally having a lovely girly day out with my mum and friends. The catwalk was really inspirational, so I’ll definitely be taking onboard some of the fantastic styling tips!”
The Catwalk Show brought the dresses available at the show to life with aspirational style and glamour. From dazzling art-deco designs to city chic style, the Catwalk Show presented collections for all styles and budgets.
After spotting their dream dresses on the Catwalk, brides flocked to the Bridal Zone, Boutique and Designer Areas to try on their favourite styles in spacious changing rooms, with no appointments necessary.
“I’m getting married in July and I’ve found my dream dress at Ivory and Co today! I saw the dress on the catwalk and immediately came to the stand to try it on – it’s not normally something that I would choose, so I’m glad I spotted it at the show!” gushed bride-to-be Victoria Skleton, from Saddleworth.
The nation’s finest designers and retailers including Justin Alexander, Ivory & Co, Zaeem Jamal and Berketex together with popular regional bridal boutiques such as Roissy et Gu, Frothimoon Bridalwear, Bella Rose and Cheadle Bride came together to present the largest collection of wedding dresses under one roof.
In addition to biggest names in bridal, this Manchester wedding show host of exhibitors included the nations favourite high street brands including bareMinerals, Essie, Moss Bros, Burton Menswear, Debenhams, Sandals and Thomson & First Choice.

The Big Day Top 10 Tips provided brides with the opportunity to hear from industry experts first hand and receive advice on everything from planning the perfect wedding to how to pose for photographs.
After an exciting day of shopping, wedding inspiration and planning, visitors took time out and toasted to future happiness in the Champagne Bar and enjoyed tea and cake in the Vintage Tea Room, which housed vintage inspired props for a fun photo opportunity.
