Setting the scene

Lighting, audio-visual and dance floors for your special day.

Lighting – The use of creative lighting can transform your venue in to a unique party environment. Mobile systems can be designed and installed into your venue especially for your event. The lighting design can include fixed colour up lighting or using the latest LED technology colour changeable up lighting, with this the lights can be programmed to remain static or fade through colour sequences to match your colour scheme.

To highlight your table centre arrangements pin-spot lighting can be used, this is a sharp beam of white light shone down from over head illuminating the centre of your ding tables.

Always wanted to see your name in lights? Well now you can, how about having the brides and bridegrooms names projected on to a wall or dance floor?  This is called gobo projection and can static or can move around. Entertainment lighting can include moving lights, mirror balls and effect projectors to create an impressive light show to give that “wow” factor to your evening reception. Lighting doesn’t just have to be internal; why not light the outside of your venue or outdoor features.

Dance floors – It is becoming increasingly popular to hire in a special dance floor for your evening reception. There are many options available and the floors can be laid over the venues existing dance floor, over carpet or in marquees in fact almost any level surface would be suitable. Some of the latest floors available include pure white or jet black dance floors with twinkling white lights even “Saturday Night Fever” style colour changing dance floors. Imagine stepping onto the dance floor for the first dance and suddenly the whole floor illuminates.

Audio Visual – Often overlooked is the need for a microphone and PA system for those all important speeches so nobody misses a single word. The PA system can include a CD player or I-Pod connection so you can play background music throughout your wedding breakfast.

If your wedding was abroad why not show your photographs or video on a large plasma or projection screen so your guests that couldn’t join you abroad can see the action.

By using using the various technologies above you can create a fairytale setting for your special day but is important to seek professional advice from a reputable company to help you turn your dreams into reality.
